I'm an ISAT student at James Madison University from Culpeper, Virginia. I co-founded a campus wildlife research project, lead outreach at the Edith J. Carrier Arboretum, and help run a 20-person a cappella group. I like problems that need both a spreadsheet and a room full of people.

About me

Hands-on, curious, and happiest when a plan turns into something real.

I grew up in Culpeper, Virginia, and I'm now studying Integrated Science and Technology at JMU, a major built around solving real problems across science, tech, and people. That mix suits me. One day I'm mapping squirrel sightings across the Arboretum, the next I'm tuning a 3D printer's slicing profile or building a tracker in Excel to keep a 20-person group on schedule.

I'm looking for internships and research roles where I can collect real data, build prototypes, and work with a team to get things done.

Going Nuts for Black Squirrels

A campus research project tracking the black squirrel population across JMU's Edith J. Carrier Arboretum: how many there are, where they live, and how they use the habitat.

  • Set the research objectives for population density, spatial distribution, and habitat use.
  • Collected and mapped real-time field observations with digital mapping tools to study local wildlife patterns.
  • Brought students and visitors into the data collection through Squirrel Fest '26.

Interpretive Intern

Edith J. Carrier Arboretum, James Madison University

  • Started and managed the "Going Nuts for Black Squirrels" field study, gathering observational data on population density, species counts, and spatial distribution across the grounds.
  • Co-designed and ran over half of the interactive programming for Squirrel Fest '26, supervising a team of 30 volunteers on logistics and public outreach.
  • Lead hands-on science experiences and guided tours for youth and adult visitors, turning local ecology, biodiversity, and conservation into something people remember.

  • Primary operational liaison for 20 members and the executive board, keeping communication moving and weekly goals on track.
  • Handle task delegation, progress tracking, and deadlines for executive initiatives, and run rehearsals and events when the President is out.
  • Built shared logs and templates to track tasks and meeting outcomes so leadership stays aligned.

Whether it's a field survey or a rehearsal, the job is the same: get everyone on the same page and keep the work moving.

As Vice President of ReScored A Cappella, I'm the person who makes sure 20 singers and an executive board know what's happening, what's due, and who owns it. It's the same skill I use running volunteers at the Arboretum, just with better harmonies.
